As London Fashion Week Men's drew to a close on Monday, I thought it would be a good opportunity to reflect on the amazing collections and showcase some of the best pieces and trends to look out for in Autumn/Winter!
JOSEPH
British heritage underlies the nature of this collection, yet a playful sense of sportiness appears to bring it to life. The most notable detail is the curation of carefully selected and placed muted colours which compliment the hand made and cosy nature of the pieces which have a folk-like feel to them.
NIGEL CABOURN
I am an avid fan of Nigel Cabourn's clothing due to its raw feel which I believe is enhanced by his love for vintage influences. This collection did not let him down with his amazing camouflage print reconfirming the explorer feel to his brand and the combination of the navy all in one and borg lined leather jacket gave off a seriously cool working man look. http://www.cabourn.com/
E.TAUTZ
To perfect the geek-chic and slightly oversized look E.Tautz is the place for you. The collection modernises 70s style suits and smart day time wear, updating them with new fabrics and classic colours to form wearable and commercial pieces. The best aspect of all would have to be the range of shapes in the outerwear, especially that grid check coat in the middle!
LOU DALTON
Quirky, wearable and fun are all the boxes Lou Dalton for this collection. From her denim chambray jackets and trousers paired with colourful abstract prints to her beautifully synced colour palette of navy, copper orange, cream and teddy bear brown there is definitely something for everyone here. A truly visually stunning collection topped off with fun knitwear! https://www.loudalton.com/
CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN
Any collection with a sportier, street-style feel to it has my heart racing. Christopher Raeburn pulls it out of the bag with his effortlessly cool looks with webbing detail, patchwork knits and highlights of fluorescent yellow and ice blue. The diversity of the range is immense and its ability to connect and flow from one piece to another amazes me. A very well ranged and exciting show!
