Kendall Jenner X Estēe Lauder Lipstick

Hi everyone,

Recently I purchased the Kendall Jenner X Estēe Lauder lipstick in the shade Restless and immediately fell in love. It is a lovely bright red/orange matte colour that is perfect for the summertime.

I have been wearing it in combination with gold eyeshadow, a small flick of eyeliner and a peachy cheek. For the day time, I like to gently dab the product along my lips and blend it out with my ring finger for a more muted tone. Yet, to get the full colour on your lips one swipe is all you will need as it is extremely pigmented! Lipliner or using a lip brush is a must for this step. I am very pleased with this product and it has great staying power :-)

Skincare & Beauty Haul

Hi everyone,

This weekend I headed to Leeds and ended up doing a little bit of shopping… surprise surprise! I actually managed to bag a great bargain at Liz Earle and have been wanting to try out the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation and their Radiant Creamy Concealer for a while so I am one very happy lady :-)

1. Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

I have been testing out this product for a week or so now and I can confidently say that it leaves your skin glowing. You apply it to your face with a cotton pad after you have cleansed and then wait around 10 minutes for it to soak in before applying your moisturiser. It also leaves your skin feeling extremely soft so you could skip the moisturiser step if you are happy with the results. [200ml £14.50]

2. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Once again I have been testing out this product for a week or so with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic above. You apply a pump or so onto your fingers and then massage the product into your skin in circular motions (including over the eye area) and then remove it with a damp warm muslin cloth. It does not irritate the eye area, removes make-up successfully, and includes ingredients such as cocoa butter leaving the skin feeling soft. [200ml starter kit £28.00]

3. Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

I actually picked up this product for my mum, but as I have fallen in love with the Liz Earle range I may purchase one of these in the future. The exfoliator is designed to treat flaky or congested skin by buffing away dead skin cells with jojoba beads. [70ml £15.75]

4. Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser

Liz Earle were having a brilliant deal on in store where if you purchased particular skincare items you got a moisturiser for free. I chose the moisturiser for normal/combination skin as my skin can get a little bit dry sometimes. As I am not 100% happy with the one i am using now, I am excited to give this one a go and will do a review in the future once I have used it for a month or so. [50ml £25.25]

5. Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion

I only noticed this product in the bag once I got home, but the lovely sales assistant had put a miniature sample of a Soothing Eye Lotion in for me. It is designed to 'refresh tired, puffy eyes and remove light eye make up.' I will review this product in the same post as mentioned above :-) [150ml £13.25]

Somehow I managed to grab all of these products above for a mere £36! Liz Earle every so often do great offers online and in store  so be sure to keep an eye out.

6. Nars Foundation Pump

Unfortunately the foundation that I purchased does not come with a pump. I therefore purchased one so I could control how much foundation comes out and not waste any product. [£3.00]

7. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

I have been lusting after this product for a long time now, so I thought it was time to bite the bullet and give it a go. As this is a high-end product I asked the sales assistant to colour match me and try the product all over my face first to see how I liked it. After applying primer, she placed three different shades on my face and took me to the natural light to see which shade was the best match and we both decided on 'Stromboli.' It is a lightweight foundation, that gives you a subtle glow and has a velvet finish. The foundation is best suited to normal to dry skin types and best applied with your fingers. I was pleased to notice that around six hours later I could confidently see the foundation was still in place. [£31.00]

8. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

The one thing I focus on when purchasing concealer is its ability to cover dark under eye circles and its staying power. I think that this product ticks both of these boxes. When the sales assistant was applying the product to my face, I was holing a mirror and could see that it instantly covered up any imperfections. Once again I was happy to notice that the product had not budged a few hours later. I have the concealer in the shade 'Biscuit.' [£22.00]

Blogposts will now be up every Sunday, and occasionally there might be one on a wednesday so keep your eyes peeled :-)

Lots of love,

Sarah Marie x
